There’s always a lot of exciting things happening in the music world, and if you’ve been following along with our “Inspired By” posts, then you know that music and fashion pretty much go hand in hand. Artists in the music world often lead the way into new fashion trends by either being personally styled by the biggest names in the fashion world, or starting new trends themselves. So you know when you see someone big in the spotlight, they’re most likely taking a cue from whatever the hottest trends in the fashion world are at the moment.
With Adele currently making a big comeback, due to her new hit single “Hello” from her brand new album due to release later this month, I thought it would be fun to see what not only her current fashion choices are looking like, but how she was styled for the video of “Hello” (the song that pretty much everyone can’t get out of their heads right now!)
Not only does it seem the video perfectly invokes the entire feeling of fall just in time for a fall release of the song, but Adele is bold enough to pull off several of this fall’s fashion trends all in one outfit! If you remember this post about this fall’s most popular fashion trends, then you’ll see that Adele has pulled the three biggest looks of the season together into one lovely, cohesive number! It takes a brave fashionista to do this combination of plaid, floral, and fur all at one time, but of coarse, this is Adele we’re talking about, and she totally rocks it!
If there’s one thing we know about Adele, it’s that she isn’t afraid to be who she is. She is bold, beautiful, humble, yet unapologetic for what she stands for. I love that her spirit carries over into her fashion choices! Her long, shaggy, faux-fur coat that she wears in the video adds the perfect amount of “rockstar” to her cute plaid shirt-dress layered over black leggings. A multi-patterned floral scarf is added as the final layer for just the right touch of whimsy, completing the perfect trifecta of fall fashion. And that’s why we’re “Inspired By” Adele this month!
