Erin described the session: “This session was a total blast! Sarah was such an amazing client and so willing to do whatever I asked. She is a natural in front of the camera! We headed down to Downtown Norfolk for this shoot. I wanted an Urban background for her Rocker Chic look. I styled her wardrobe with clothing from Forever 21 and random bangles I had in my jewelry draw. We planned on shooting this session on a warm Spring evening, but plans changed. We had a cold front move in and it was 49 degrees out during this shoot! The denim jacket wasn’t planned, but due to the cold she had brought it with her and it looked so cute with her black dress! Sarah was a rock star!! She actually colored her hair PINK just for this session!!!”
Absolutely beautiful, Erin. When asked what inspired this session, Erin added, “The color PINK!!! I have been dreaming of photographing a teen with pink hair the longest time. One day I decided to stop dreaming and make it happen. I reached out to my good friend and past coworker, Sarah Fisher, I asked her if she had any clients or new anyone with cotton candy pink hair, and if she did have then get in touch with me!! I am so thankful that she asked around, and put the word out!! Sarah (the model) scheduled a hair appointment with Sarah (the hair genius), to have her hair colored cotton candy pink…just for this session!! I wanted this shoot to stand out and be different from the norm, to have more of an edge to it, and to be colorful!”
