Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today I’m so happy to feature this cute session from Heather Evans Photography in Tyler, Texas.

I’ll let Heather describe the session as the model holds a special place in her heart: “This session was done over the holidays while my niece, Carla, was in town from Washington State. I was so excited to finally be able to do a session with her. She is super comfortable in front of the camera and of course gorgeous! Her eyes are beautiful and just pop.

Since I only get to see Carla a couple times a year, it was must that we get in a session before she left. The fact that I had the new 135mm lens was just the icing on the cake. I had a new location I wanted to try out and this was the perfect opportunity.”

I love the first session with a new lens! I think it automatically forces me outside my comfort zone and pushes me to try new things. What’s your favorite portrait lens for teen session?

Be sure to check out more of Heather’s work on her website and Facebook page. Thanks for stopping by!
